Retail
Appointed by retail distributor Mark2 to create a retail showroom within their existing warehouse on the site of their Bolton headquarters. The task was to create a kitchen showroom to display the new product in an interesting new way to the buyers of companies such as John Lewis for example. What was a dusty warehouse is now transformed into a cutting edge kitchen showroom utilising brand new ideas of presentation and layout to capture the imaginations of the visiting buyers. Using a open plan layout with exciting vision lines throughout, the showroom now takes you away from the steel stairs into a world of modern and traditional kitchens with a twist to suit current day living styles. The use of standard kitchen units, manipulated to create such things as a ‘mac suite’ within the living kitchen display really shows an understanding of how we now live our lives and breathes new life into what is an excellent product surrounded by now mundane looking comparitive competitors. To tackle the challenge of the open ceiling height and industrial feel it gave, we have carefully designed lightweight ceiling rafts which are suspended from the high ceiling above and provide excellent ‘point of sale’ opportunities.
