Working with the senior UK management team we established the need for and provided a number of vital services in order to assure a successful head office relocation.  Among many critical elements was the need to maintain the operation of the company’s biggest European distribution centre and the service and repair laboratories during the move.  During the planning process The Planning Office were directly responsible for identifying and appointing stakeholders within the business, development of feasibility plans to full working drawings,  issuing of all information, chairing weekly progress meetings, updating and reporting, scheduling and budget control, project programming, meeting with and appointing all relevant contractors and the furniture design selection and procurement. When the 3 month build up to the big weekend was over, our team attended the process as move managers, working throughout the day and night during the heavy snowfall in November 2010 to ensure the successful relocation in readiness for the Monday morning opening. We are pleased to report that The Planning Office received only positive feedback from all parties involved and have now forged a positive on-going relationship with a new client.
