The Planning Office is effectively a ‘family-run’ business, established in 2005 and currently operating from the premises of it’s Founder / Director – Ben Connell, with administrative support provided by his wife Kerry and strategic direction given by his father Bob.
Ben’s CV is available on request and demonstrates a solid background in Facilities Management and Workplace Design, having qualified in 3 Dimensional Design and mentored by some of the best people in the industry.
Periods working with Prudential, Siemens and ABA Design support a pedigree of commercial design and implementation, with high standards of completion and conformity to best practise.
Ben is a perfectionist with a real attention to detail and a broad understanding of design concepts, but with an amenable approach and very practicable application to clients needs.
Kerry runs the family home, looking after Ben and their two young children, but still finds time to look after the books and general administration involved in running your ‘own business’.
Bob spent most of his career in Retail Management holding board positions with some major national organisations and brings general business experience as well as specific knowledge of the home improvement and commercial market to the team.
As The Planning Office we also have direct access to all the necessary disciplines, such as Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Data & Electrical Engineers, Installation Contractors as well as Interior Designers for more bespoke work, in order to offer the complete turnkey solution if so required on any project.
